IFCCI CSR Committee Meeting 2025

The Indo-French Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IFCCI) hosted the CSR Committee Members’ Meet on 30th July 2025 at Capgemini’s Bangalore office.

The Indo-French Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IFCCI) hosted the CSR Committee Members’ Meet on 30th July 2025 at Capgemini’s Bangalore office, bringing together CSR Heads from across the Indo-French business ecosystem to discuss the Indo-French Year of Innovation 2026 and explore the possibility of launching a collaborative CSR project during the year. Members from other cities also joined the meeting virtually.

The objective of the meeting was to provide a platform for proposing innovative, tech-driven CSR projects that could be co-developed through multi-stakeholder collaboration among French companies, and implemented by the IFCCI CSR Department, with the aim of generating deeper social impact through cross-company engagement.

The session opened with remarks by Mr. Yohann Samuel, Regional Director – South, IFCCI, who underlined the significance of this bilateral initiative in promoting innovation and sustainable development through strategic partnerships, and reiterated the key role played by the IFCCI CSR Department in enabling such collaborations.

Mr. Anurag Pratap, Chairperson, IFCCI CSR Committee & CSR Leader at Capgemini, welcomed the members and emphasized the importance of corporate partnerships in delivering inclusive, technology-led solutions to today’s global challenges.

Following this, impactful project proposals were presented by industry members from:
· Pernod Ricard – Ms. Sutanuka Sarkar, Manager – CSR
· Dassault Systèmes Foundation – Mr. Hemant Gadgil, Program Director & Mentor
· Schneider Electric India – Dr. Richa Gautam, Director – Sustainability & CSR, Greater India Zone
· Alstom – Ms. Ankita Upadhaya, Corporate Communications Director
· Capgemini – Mr. Anurag Pratap, CSR Leader

The proposals covered high-impact themes such as:
· Smart Villages powered by solar energy
· Circular economy initiatives for plastic and glass waste
· Inclusive digital education and rural empowerment
· Smart and sustainable mobility solutions

Several other members also shared their ongoing focus areas in digital inclusion, rural development and women empowerment, collectively reinforcing that sustainability lies at the core of today’s business challenges and expressed interest in collaborating with other member companies to create a scalable, long-term impact.

The meeting was attended by over 30 CSR leaders and representatives from Air Liquide Medical Systems, Alstom, ARaymond Fasteners India Pvt Ltd., Axon Interconnectors and Wires, Capgemini, CMA CGM, Dassault Systemes Foundation, Engie India, Kamath Plastics, M.S. Ramaiah Institute of Management, Mekark Structures, Michelin, Orange Business, Pernod Ricard India, Research N Consulting, Robinson Logistics, Royer, Sanofi India, Schneider Electric India, Societe Generale, Thales and Veolia Water Technologies, contributing meaningfully to the discussion and ideation.
