SCHOOL ADOPTION

The Indo-French Chamber of Commerce & Industry (IFCCI) is proud to announce the inauguration of its first CSR project under the aegis of the IFCCI CSR Department which was set up in 2023. In partnership with Socomec Group India Pvt. Ltd. and Socomec Innovative Power Solutions Pvt. Ltd, this school adoption project entailed the complete renovation and refurbishment of Prathmik Vidhyala School Sakipur in Greater Noida.

During the inauguration, Ms. Payal S. Kanwar, Director General of IFCCI, expressed the significance of the organization’s CSR Department and its collaboration with Socomec, demonstrating a shared commitment to corporate social responsibility and educational advancement. The project has resulted in a comprehensive transformation of the primary school.

Mr. Meenu Singhal, Managing Director of Socomec, expressed satisfaction with the outcomes of this joint CSR endeavor in Greater Noida. Socomec has committed to adopting Prathmik Vidhyalaya in Village Sakipur, Gautam Buddha Nagar, UP for a period of three years. In the initial stages, the project concentrated on revamping the entire school structure, enhancing classroom facilities, implementing solar panels, and constructing a playground area to enrich the educational setting for around 200 students.
