Empowering Lives with Project ‘WALK INDIA’!

The Indo-French Chamber of Commerce & Industry (IFCCI) launched a CSR initiative called ‘WALK INDIA,’ supported by Michelin, on the 3rd of December 2024 marking the International Day of Persons with Disabilities.

The project, implemented by IFCCI in collaboration with Fupro Innovation Pvt. Ltd., is a transformative initiative dedicated to empowering economically disadvantaged amputees by providing state-of-the-art, lightweight prosthetic limbs that enhance mobility and quality of life.

But it’s more than just mobility – ‘WALK INDIA’ is about restoring dignity and fostering economic independence through employment opportunities. During its pilot phase, the initiative will benefit 25 amputees in Pune, with an ambitious vision to scale across India, creating a lasting impact.
